They become involved in the theft and recovery of a priceless Renaissance painting and the battle for an enormous family fortune—all against the backdrop of a suddenly and dramatically changing Continent.

Also starring F. Murray Abraham, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Tilda Swinton, and more, Anderson's film remains one of the biggest hits at the Coolidge in the history of the theatre.
