Body

Cultures collide when an introverted doctor brings his white boyfriend home to meet his traditional East Indian family.

While worshiping at a temple, soft-spoken doctor Naveen (Karan Soni) meets Jay (Tony Award winner Jonathan Groff), a white man adopted by Indian parents. When Naveen finally brings Jay home to meet his family as his fiancé, they must contend with accepting his white artist boyfriend and help the couple plan the Indian wedding of their dreams. Through comic misunderstandings, frank fights, and emotional revelations, Roshan Sethi creates a sweetly hilarious and moving portrait of an unexpected couple finding each other and a family attempting to reconcile their expectations and beliefs with the love they have for one another.
