Coolidge Corner Theatre Joins Stop Hate for Profit Campaign

The Coolidge Corner Theatre is joining the Stop Hate for Profit campaign, organized by the Anti-Defamation League, the NAACP, Sleeping Giants, Color Of Change, Free Press, and Common Sense. We’re calling on other businesses to send a message to Facebook, in response to their repeated failure to meaningfully address the vast proliferation of hate on their platforms.

We will be pulling all paid advertising on both Facebook and Instagram this July, to push Facebook to finally take real action. They must stop generating ad revenue from hateful content, provide more support to people who are targets of racism and hate, and to increase safety for private groups on the platform, among other measures.
