Coolidge After Midnite Honors William Lustig

We're fired up to present legendary cult horror film director William Lustig with the 2018 Coolidge After Midnite Award! Join us for these special screenings of Vigilante featuring a post-screening Q&A, and Maniac Cop 2 with a moderated post-film discussion and award presentation.

About William Lustig

Quentin Tarantino regards him as one of his favorite directors. Sam Raimi cites him as a major influence. He’s worked with giallo master Dario Argento. Through the ‘80s and ‘90s, William Lustig almost single-handedly kept the flames of exploitation cinema burning, not by simply paying homage to a genre he loved, but by unapologetically making great exploitation films; Maniac, Maniac Cop, Maniac Cop 2, Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence, Vigilante, Uncle Sam, and more!

Today, Lustig runs Blue Underground an entertainment company dedicated to guilty pleasures for adventurous movie lovers which lovingly restored 42nd Street classics for home video and theatrical release.
