Seminar: Vagabond

Pre-film seminar taught by projectionist and illustrator Alex Kittle! 

This seminar will provide attendees with background on Vagabond’s production while exploring its major themes and insights, as well as a brief overview of Agnes Varda’s filmmaking career and the film’s connections to some other women directors. 

About Alex Kittle 

Alex Kittle is an illustrator and zinemaker, head projectionist at the Brattle Theatre, and an overall movie enthusiast. She co-hosts the screening and discussion series Strictly Brohibited, which highlights films made by women, trans, and gender-expansive filmmakers. She holds an M.A. in Art History from Boston University.
