Seminar: Strictly Ballroom

Event Date
Monday, September 28th
Body

Everyone is a dancer in Baz Luhrman’s feature debut Strictly Ballroom, but not everyone is dancing from the heart.

In this seminar, Tova Gannana will show how it’s a film about stifling conformity, knowing that something is amiss in one's steps because they’re not one's own, and wanting to win, not just a medal but artistic freedom.
