Explore the history and reception of this southern gothic noir and the timeless charisma of Robert Mitchum as its predatory protagonist.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Long-time Coolidge Instructor Kaj Wilson served as Film Editor of The Improper Bostonian, followed by 12 years as Artistic Director of The Boston Jewish Film Festival. Awards include a Special Commendation by the Boston Society of Film Critics and the Image Award for Vision and Excellence by Women in Film and Video/New England. She's been a Robert Mitchum fan since she was 10 years old.
