Our midnight shorts block seeks to shock and impress even our most jaded viewers.

Think you’ve got what it takes? Prepare yourself for the weirdest, wildest, goriest, and darkest shorts our programming team could find. Many of these films offer bleakly funny commentary on contemporary societal ills, others prioritize creepy atmosphere or body horror. Some showcase gruesome violence, others aim for more psychologically harrowing effects. The world is a disaster and we hate it here, but at least we can express our grievances through art experienced with our festival community, and at the end of the day we can retreat to our cozy, comfy, oh-so-fuckable beds ;) — Alex Kittle, BUFF Shorts Programmer

Programming team: Alex Kittle, Jozef Kluczkiewicz, George Luke, Rebekah Murphy, Jonah Puskar, Ben Sunday
