Spike and Denzel

There are iconic duos, and then there are iconic duos...and legendary director Spike Lee and acclaimed actor Denzel Washington without a doubt deserve the italics. Through their decades-spanning creative partnership, the two have made five movies together, the most recent being Highest 2 Lowest, a remake of Akira Kurosawa's High and Low.

In this summer series, we'll revisit their joint body of work and inspirations, while looking forward to (hopefully) many more of their collaborations to come.
