An emotional political thriller starring Barbara Sukowa and Lambert Wilson and directed by Angelina Maccarone.

A bombing in Frankfurt has reverberations throughout the city, setting into motion a chain of events with far-reaching political and personal consequences. Conservative politician Mathilda has been a staunch advocate for strict EU border controls to limit migrant populations. When her close friend and artist Richard asks her to hide a young Moroccan, Malik, who has entered the EU illegally her ideological and private loyalties collide.

When Malik is unjustly identified as a suspect in the bombing, Mathilda’s aide Amina, who wants to leave her Moroccan roots behind, begins to question her own allegiances.
