Drew Barrymore stars as Ivy, a devious, lethal teenager who befriends shy high school student Sylvie (Sara Gilbert) and uses her wiles to infiltrate and gradually destroy the girl’s wealthy but severely dysfunctional family. Directed by Roger Corman protege Katt Shea, this stylish thriller spawned three sequels based on the titular bad girl. Look out for a young Leonardo DiCaprio in a small role. - Criterion
