Academy-award winning director Jonathan Demme beautifully presents Rock & Roll Hall of Fame legend Neil Young as he prepares and performs the concert of a lifetime.
With interviews from most of the band, including Peggi Young, Emmylou Harris, Ben Keith, and Spooner Oldham, Neil Young: Heart of Gold captures the entire 2005 concert at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, documenting the world premiere of songs from Prairie Wind, as well as renditions of some of Young's greatest hits.
