Slowburn Shoot is a feature length Documentary that takes an unvarnished look at the world of independent wrestling through the lens of Absolute Intense Wrestling. Rising stars and aging vets alike all pass through scrappy regional leagues like AIW. For some, it’s their only paycheck. For others, it’s their last chance. Slowburn Shoot also chronicles the trials and tribulations of founder John Thorne and his beloved co-owner “Chandler Biggins”. The story is told by some of the biggest names in professional wrestling today. They tell their own tales while revealing the tragedy and the ultimate triumph that is Absolute Intense Wrestling.
