Body
Set against the majestic backdrop of the Italian mountain range, this visually stunning and emotionally complex film explores the precarious territory of contemporary family life.
A captivating family drama about diverging ideas of fatherhood as an unforeseen event turns a mountainside vacation into a survival trip. Aaron, from Germany, has found the woman of his life in his French girlfriend Lea, but her 8-year-old son Tristan still imagines his mother reconciling with his American father. On what should be an idyllic vacation in the soaring Italian Dolomites, Aaron fights to win over Tristan and cement his place in this family, while the boy's subtle acts of rebellion gradually escalate toward a chilling climax. A hiking trip that Aaron plans to win the boys respect, turns into something more tragic when fog sets in and he loses the boy.
