Researchers on the undersea lab Aquatica have genetically altered the brains of captive sharks to develop a cure for Alzheimer's disease. But there's an unexpected side effect: the the sharks have become smarter and meaner. After a big storm damages the remote research facility, an all star cast, including Samuel L. Jackson, Saffron Burrows, LL Cool J, Thomas Jane, and Michael Rapaport, must fight for their lives as the super sharks hunt them down.
