“We’ve awakened them …”

The classic book and movie The Amityville Horror told the true story of the Lutz family, who fled in terror from their dream home in Amityville, Long Island, New York, convinced that it was possessed by hostile supernatural forces. The Lutzes managed to escape with their lives – but the previous tenants were not so lucky. At 3:15 a.m. on November 13th, 1974, twenty-three year old Ronald “Butch” DeFeo, Jr. picked up a .35 caliber rifle and murdered all six members of his family in cold blood as they slept.  DeFeo would later claim that “voices” in the house told him to carry out the heinous crime, saying, “Once I started, I couldn’t stop … I felt someone was inside moving me.”

Now, prepare to face your worst fears as the terrifying truth behind the Amityville Murders is finally revealed. Starring John Robinson (Transformers), Chelsea Ricketts (Jackals) and featuring the return of veteran actors Diane Franklin and Burt Young (co-stars of 1982’s Amityville II: The Possession), this harrowing tale of an ill-fated family’s final days will leave you sleeping with the lights on … and praying for morning.
