Mina is from Iran, but she leaves her home for Germany when she marries Iranian-German assistant doctor Kian, whom she’s met by the traditional Iranian method of arranged encounters.  In his mid-30s, Kian is desperate for a wife to make his life appear complete. Mina embraces her newly found freedom in Germany, even if their relationship is not exactly love at first sight. When one day Mina stands her ground and decides to adopt a green-eyed, ferociously-staring cat despite Kian’s objection, the gap between the two is widening and their attempt to fall in love after marriage is doomed to be challenging.
