Furiosa and Fury Road Double Feature
George Miller’s Mad Max universe remains the gold standard of cinematic dystopia, a scorched world ruled by warlords, survivors, and the road.
Furiosa expands the mythos, tracing one woman’s defiant rise against tyranny, while Fury Road hurls us through the apocalypse to “ride eternal, shiny and chrome”. Together they paint a brutal but beautiful portrait of freedom in the wasteland, where resistance isn’t an idea, it’s ignition.
About Furiosa: A Mad Max Story
As the world fell, young Furiosa (Anya Taylor-Joy) is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth). Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
