Viola Hastings is in a real jam. Complications threaten her scheme to pose as her twin brother, Sebastian, and take his place at a new boarding school. She falls in love with her handsome roommate, Duke, who loves beautiful Olivia, who has fallen for Sebastian! As if that were not enough, Viola's twin returns from London ahead of schedule but has no idea that his sister has already replaced him on campus.

About Viola Dean

Viola Dean (she/hers), joined BAGLY in the spring of 2023 as the Outreach and Engagement Coordinator. An alumna of Brandeis University and Simmons University, she has a background in clinical social work, psychology, trauma, and African-American/Afro Diasporic studies. She previously worked as a trainer and facilitator around topics related to harm reduction, including substance use and supporting clients living with and at risk of HIV/AIDS, motivational interviewing, and LGBTQ+ health. Viola is passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ youth, particularly LGBTQ+ youth of color. She believes in practicing harm reduction in all parts of our society and identifies as a Black feminist. As an Outreach coordinator, Viola spends plenty of time out and about speaking about BAGLY in the community, if you see her, feel free to say hi and introduce yourself!
