Body

Composer Jeff Rapsis performs piano scores live to two classic Buster Keaton silent comedies.

Rapsis has performed scores all across the country, to hundreds of silent films. This screening will feature his scores to two of Keaton's shorter films, The Cameraman and Sherlock Jr.

About The Cameraman

Keaton stars in this silent comedy about a photographer who takes up newsreel shooting to impress a beautiful office worker, played by Marceline Day. After several attempts to impress the movie queen, Keaton's character finds himself in the middle of a major news story.

About Sherlock Jr.

Keaton plays a movie projectionist who daydreams himself into the movies he is showing and merges with the figures and the backgrounds on the screen. While dreaming he is Conan Doyle's master detective, he snoops out brilliant discoveries.
