Your Not-For-Profit Independent Theatre
Support The Coolidge!During the past ten years, The Coolidge Corner Theatre has become a valued resource for individuals and families looking to experience outstanding films and live performances together. You won't find programming like ours anywhere else in New England! In 1989, as a non-profit theatre, The Coolidge has helped improve the quality of life in our community. The theatre's presence has encouraged revitalization of our business area and stimulated tourism. We gratefully acknowledge our support for the past twenty years by THE MASSACHUSETTS CULTURAL COUNCIL which provides us annually with Operational Support. There are several charitable giving opportunities for individuals, organizations, and corporations to help the Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation continue to grow:
DONATION of Stocks: Electronic delivery of stock shares is fastest and most secure way to make a donation. We appreciate your generous contribution to close the capital campaign. In the five years, over $2.5 milion of improvements have been made to the theater. Most of this money came from donors, foundations, and people like you. The most recent changes have been the addition of two elevators and assisted listening devices in all venues. Major restoration work, an expanded inner lobby and box office area have created a more spacious and grand experience. New carpeting, Dolby Digital sound, Video equipment, restrooms, seats and a marquee have made The Coolidge a wonderful place to experience cinema. The Capital Campaign provides the Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation with funds to preserve and maintain our historic Art Deco movie palace. Please make a donation for future improvements.
