Death is in the air. You are back in school, leaves are falling from trees, and the Coolidge's Halloween Horror Marathon is tossing 12 hours of blood-soaked fun across our big screen! This year we have secured one our most horrifying line-ups ever, starting with a double-creature-feature of THE BLOB (1988) and a brand new print of the camp classic NIGHT OF THE CREEPS! Featuring ghoulishly-live rock and roll entertainment and our hellish costume contest in between! Those brave enough to stay for the remaining films in the marathon will be tricked and treated to four more terrifying surprise titles as the night stretches on and on into madness!

All films presented on 35mm!!

THE BLOB (1988)

Terror has no shape.

The 80's saw a spike in Horror/Sci Fi remakes from directors like David Cronenberg (THE FLY) and John Carpenter (THE THING). This incarnation of THE BLOB is easily overlooked when it goes up against that caliber of company. However, it is just as fun and holds it's own with scares and gore. No other film has dissolved human beings so gruesomely and then proceeded to wash them down the drain. Come see Johnny Drama battle the Blob!

NIGHT OF THE CREEPS (1986)

"The good news is your dates are here. The bad news is... they're dead."

Alien worm parasite thingies from outer space cause the dead to walk in this classic schlocker from director Fred Dekker (THE MONSTER SQUAD). When a frozen, alien worm ridden corpse from the 1950's is mistakenly thawed by a couple of fraternity pledges in the mid 80's, their college campus turns into a feeding ground.
