Each month, local T-shirt impresario Johnny Cupcakes emerges from his super secret T-shirt laboratory to screen some of his all-time favorite childhood movies here on the Coolidge's GIANT screen. Not only is Mr. Cupcakes himself here in person to host and inspire movie-related mischief, he also comes armed with groovy limited edition Tees to sell that are made just for each show -- get 'em while they're hot!

This month, we screen FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, the slacker classic by the dearly departed maestro of '80s teen cinema, John Hughes.

We have all faked sick at some point in our lives. Most likely, our phantom illnesses came on during the years were were trapped in high school. We may have even found something cool to do with our day off. However, none of us were able to seize the day like Ferris Bueller. We never stole Ferrari's, we never went to Chicago, and we never dated Mia Sara (much to our regret). This film is a true escapist classic from late, great, director John Hughes.
